Business Model Innovation with Artificial Intelligence for Urgent Green Agenda – Educate to Innovate : AI4GreenBus
December 2025, Turiba University, in cooperation with the lead partner Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and partners from Sweden, Germany, Latvia, France, and Romania, launched the Erasmus+ innovation project “Business Model Innovation with Artificial Intelligence for Urgent Green Agenda – Educate to Innovate : AI4GreenBus”.
The European Union is simultaneously facing the challenges of the green and digital transitions, which require new sustainable business models and professionals equipped with skills in artificial intelligence and green technologies. Rapid digitalisation, the development of artificial intelligence (AI), and climate change demand close cooperation between education and business to ensure labour-market-relevant competences, innovation capacity, and practical solutions for a sustainable economy. The project addresses this gap by offering a cross-sectoral, practice-oriented, and future-focused approach that promotes competitiveness, sustainability, and socially responsible development across Europe.
The project is aimed at strengthening competences in the development of sustainable and circular economy-based business models across various industries in the European Union, using digitalisation as a key driver of green business development. It will enhance the capacity of participating organisations to support the adoption of digitalisation and prepare future professionals with strong AI competences, while fostering the creation of sustainable solutions.
