International Office
International Office is a place where international students, prospective international students and other interested parties from abroad can receive all the necessary information about study opportunities in, the admission process, study programs available for international students. Moreover, we provide information about exchange programs, such as, Erasmus+, double degree and bilateral exchange. Our goal is to provide support to anyone who wants to learn more about studying at our university and to welcome the students and give practical information before they commence their studies.
The International Office is responsible for:
- Promotional activities related to the study programs offered.
- Admissions Support – Handling inquiries related to application procedures and deadlines.
- Freshman Onboarding – Assisting with semester registration, bus passes, local phone numbers, and ISIC cards; verifying previous education documents and submitting required copies to the Student Information Centre (SIC).
- FTS (Financial Transfer Scheme) Guidance – Providing support with documentation, procedural guidance, and reception of monthly FTS payments.
- Residence Permit Procedures – Advising on permit decisions, annual extensions (starting from the invitation number), and post-graduation job-seeking visas in Latvia.
- Erasmus+, Double Degree and Bilateral Exchange – Supporting Erasmus+ and bilateral exchange applications and documentation.
