Turība University’s International Office Visits Partner Institutions in Lithuania

The International Office of Turība University recently had the pleasure of visiting two esteemed partner institutions in Lithuania - SMK College of Applied Sciences and Mykolas Romeris University. The visits, held in early October 2025, were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation, explore new opportunities for collaboration, and support the mobility of students and staff.
The representatives from Turība were warmly welcomed at SMK College of Applied Sciences, one of the most dynamic and innovative institutions in Lithuania. During the visit, both institutions engaged in fruitful discussions focused on enhancing Erasmus+ mobility opportunities and sharing best practices in student services and internationalization strategies.
A highlight of the visit was a tour of SMK’s modern learning facilities, including their entrepreneurial hub and digital labs, which showcased their commitment to applied learning and innovation.
At Mykolas Romeris University, one of the leading social sciences universities in the Baltic region, Turība’s International Office had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the International Relations Office and several academic departments. The discussions centered around expanding cooperation under the Erasmus+ programme, deepening academic partnerships, and exploring joint research initiatives.
Both institutions expressed a shared vision for advancing international education and fostering global competencies among students.
These visits reaffirm Turība University’s commitment to building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with international partners. The International Office looks forward to continued collaboration with both SMK College of Applied Sciences and Mykolas Romeris University, with a focus on promoting academic excellence, intercultural exchange, and innovative cooperation projects.
