Turība University participates in the Baltic Security Conference 2026

For the fifth consecutive year, on March 18–19, the largest event dedicated to organizational security in the Baltics – the Baltic Security Conference 2026 – will take place at the ATTA Centre, organized by the Association of Security Professionals.

Over two days, industry professionals, company leaders, and security experts will analyze the latest challenges and solutions in physical and technical security, cybersecurity, information security, occupational safety, fire safety, civil protection, crisis management, and the prevention of financial crime. The conference will serve as a platform for discussions on organizational resilience and sustainable security management in a dynamic geopolitical and technological environment.

Visitors to the conference will be invited to explore the study opportunities offered by Turība University in organizational security. At the university’s stand, faculty members and students will share information about program content, professional opportunities, and sector development prospects.

Turība University offers security studies within the Organizational Security field:

  • Master’s program “Security management of organizations” – provides an in-depth view of security sector challenges, innovations, and strategic management from a senior security management perspective.

The head of the Organizational Security field, Kārlis Apalups, emphasizes: “Organizational Security studies open the door to an exciting and responsible professional career, strengthen self-confidence, and provide international development opportunities.”

Students in the Organizational Security programs have access to a Security Laboratory equipped with video surveillance, fire safety, access control, and building management systems, as well as various physical security solutions. Plans are underway to expand the lab in the future with cybersecurity experiment modules and other organizational security solutions.

Alongside panel discussions and lectures, the conference will feature thematic workshops, allowing participants to gain in-depth knowledge in cybersecurity, occupational safety, fire safety, and technological security solutions. These workshops are designed for professionals who want to actively participate and enhance their practical skills, not just listen.
