December welcomes us with holidays and gifts, and another special occasion: Winter graduation at the Turība University. This year, on December 10, 257 graduates graduated from Turība, including 27 foreign students, at all levels of higher education - from college to doctoral level. This graduation was particularly significant, as the 17,000th student graduates from the university.
At the 2022 Winter graduation ceremony, 257 young professionals will receive their higher education diploma, who will join the extensive family of Turība graduates.
This graduation is special, because the 17,000th student graduated, and this time this lucky number of the diploma awarding sequence has fallen to Gints Holsts, a master's degree graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration, who already received a bachelor's degree in Economics and plans to continue studying here for a doctorate.
In the Winter graduation, a total of 167 specialists graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration of Turība, 74 specialists from the Faculty of Law and 16 from the Faculty of International Tourism.
Usually, in the Winter graduation, the largest number of graduates is directly in the short-cycle study programs. Also this year, a total of 137 specialists will graduate from the following programs - "Finance and Accounting", "Marketing and Sales", "Organizational Security" and "Law".
67 students will receive a bachelor's degree in the following study programs - "Business Administration", "Marketing and Sales Management", "International Communication Management", "International Financial Management", "Business Logistics Management", "Organizational Security", "Law", " Tourism and Hospitality Management”.
On the other hand, 49 graduates of Turība obtained a master's degree in the following study programs: "Business Psychology and Human Resource Management", "Business Administration" (MBA), "Public Administration", "Law" and " Tourism Strategic Management".
The winter graduation was a special moment of celebration, honouring the achievements of four Turība doctoral graduates - Muhamads Zafrans in the English stream Business Administration program, Ināra Ziemele, Kristīne Neimane and Karolis Kaklys in Law.
