Representatives from Turība participated in the recently held Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival

Joy and pride for our own – Turība representatives – lecturers, graduates and students who gave their professional contribution at the Latvian School Youth and Dance Festival. Thank you all for the emotional and beautiful celebration!
For example, among the wide circle of organizers of the Song and Dance Festival was Elīna Puncule, a graduate of the Communication program at Turība University. She served as producer for the festival procession, “Savīšanās ceļš” event, and the symphonic music concert “Daudzskanīgais debesjums”. Meanwhile, Vaiva Ribaka, a graduate of the “Event Production Management” program, worked as a choir coordinator at the Mežaparks during the festival's closing concert “TE-AUST”.
In addition, Baiba Grīna, a lecturer in the Health Care Department, who educates future event producers in creating a stage image, but also passes on her knowledge and experience in stylistics and makeup to future aesthetic cosmetology specialists, was the costume and makeup master at the closing concert “TE-AUST”. Her team was also supplemented by Turība graduates who created makeup for stage artists and conductors.
Also, among the participants involved in the scenography of the grand folk dance performance “Es atvēru Laimas dārzu” at the Daugava Stadium, we could also see Kristīne Tjarve, a lecturer in the Communication program at Turība University and student Nikola Liepiņa.
And certainly, many others have put their hands, time and work into making the Song Festival a success. Thank you all!
