PhD Position in Sociology of Authoritarian Law – Politics of Anti-Corruption
Turiba University invites applications for a fully funded PhD position in the Sociology of Authoritarian Law – Politics of Anti-Corruption within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network.
The position offers a full scholarship and employment contract for 36 months (September 2026 – August 2029). The research explores how international anti-corruption frameworks are interpreted and applied in the authoritarian legal systems of Central Asia.
The doctoral candidate will conduct independent research, fieldwork, and two international secondments (academic and non-academic) while collaborating with an international team of supervisors and peers.

ABOUT THE DOCTORAL PROGRAMME
The Doctoral Programme in Law Science (180 ECTS, 3 years, English-taught) develops advanced research and academic skills for careers in legal scholarship and practice.
