International Students Gain Valuable Insights at “Navigating the Job Market in Latvia” Seminar
On 8 December 2025, Turība University’s International Office in collaboration with the Business Incubator of the university hosted an informative seminar titled “Navigating the Job Market in Latvia”, organised for international students as part of the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting their academic and professional development.
The event featured expert input from Kaspars Kotāns, Recruitment Department Manager at CV-Online, who introduced students to the current labour market landscape in Latvia, the skills most sought after by employers, and best practices for preparing a strong CV, motivation letter, and interview performance.
In addition, students participated in a practical workshop led by Nadiia Chyzhykova, Head of the CV Workshop, where they had the opportunity to refine their CVs and receive individual guidance.
The seminar brought together university’s international students eager to enhance their employability and better understand opportunities available in Latvia. Events like this reflect Turība University’s dedication to providing its international community with the knowledge, tools, and support necessary for successful integration into the local job market.
