On October 27, Turība University hosted an inspiring event titled “Basics of Career Development for Foreign Students”, dedicated to helping international students navigate their professional journey in Latvia. The session took place at the Business Incubator in cooperation with the Career Centre and brought together students from various study programmes eager to plan their future careers with confidence.

The event offered a mix of expert insights, real-life experiences, and practical advice designed to empower students in their career development. A representative from the Integration and Inclusion Agency of Latvia shared valuable information about career opportunities, integration into the Latvian job market, and essential skills for success in a multicultural environment.

Adding a personal touch to the evening, a Turība University graduate - once an international student- shared their success story, highlighting the challenges and achievements on their path from student life to a professional career in Latvia. Their story provided inspiration and motivation for attendees, showing that with determination and the right guidance, it is possible to build a successful career abroad.

The event also included practical tips on career planning, networking, and job-seeking strategies, helping students take concrete steps toward achieving their goals.
