International experience in Turiba – Three Erasmus+ Intensive course start today!
From May 18 to 22, Turiba University will host three international Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) courses, bringing together more than 60 students from various European countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, and Slovenia. This intensive study week will create a diverse international environment that promotes knowledge exchange, intercultural cooperation, and practical learning.
Erasmus+ BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) is a short-term international mobility format that combines virtual learning activities with an intensive on-site study period. This format allows students to gain international experience in a more flexible way and is particularly suitable for those who, for various reasons, are unable to participate in a full-semester exchange abroad.
This spring, Turiba is implementing three BIP courses in different fields:
• Security and Crisis Management – focusing on security risks and crisis management within organisations;
• Leadership and Critical Thinking – exploring leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making in complex situations;
• Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Law – addressing legal challenges created by artificial intelligence and developments in AI regulation.
During the intensive week, students will participate in lectures, practical workshops, study visits, and teamwork activities, developing practical assignments in international groups. The learning process is designed to combine theoretical knowledge with real-life examples and collaboration among students from different countries.
BIP courses provide an excellent opportunity for students to gain international experience within a shorter period while developing professional and intercultural competences. For Turiba students, this also represents an opportunity to experience internationalisation at home – collaborating with students from other countries, building international networks, and developing a global perspective without leaving Latvia.
The international environment, collaborative projects, and practical learning approach make BIP courses one of the most dynamic Erasmus+ mobility formats in higher education.
Follow the latest updates on our website and do not miss the opportunity to participate. Already this August, Turiba will organise three different intensive NORDPLUS courses – summer schools in mediation, security risk management, and sustainability.
