Advancing International Collaboration: Outcomes of the LEF Network Mission to Azerbaijan
March was a busy month not only with education fairs, but also with the project LEF network Azerbaijan attended bu the Head of International Office, where new cooperation partners were found and, thus, new partnerships born. Businesses from Latvia, Finland and Estonia were warmly welcomed in Azerbaijan.
In the Azerbaijani business culture, it is customary to have several face-to-face meetings with a potential representative before signing an agreement on cooperation, talking about life, business, family, and only step by step do you get to specific negotiations about a contract, international trade. This business trip included B2B sessions, company visits and it ended with a visit to the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan and the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to Azerbaijan, where diplomatic updates and common cooperation trends were discussed.
