We invite all students who are yet to participate in the annual survey to complete the questionnaire published on BATIS!

Each and every student’s opinion is very essential to improve the study environment at Turība. Responding to the evaluations and commentaries gathered from the previous annual student survey the following essential improvements were made at Turība.

Study information centre:

• Improvements in the permission slip issue procedures;
• Opportunity to contact SIC with SKYPE assistance was launched;
• Improvements were made in the problem solving procedure.

Youth tourism hostel:

• Recreation /TV room was renovated;

Improvements in the infrastructure:

• Wi-Fi access was launched in the whole BAT campus;
• regular upgrade of computer technology was carried out;
• air conditioners were installed in lecture halls and ventilation systems were improved;
• Possibility of card payments was launched at the cash office;
• Additional electrical sockets were installed for portative computers.

Library:

• Book issue procedure was optimised.

Study process:

• Electronic study progress journal was introduced that allows students to follow their progress and deadlines;
• Choice of optional study courses were optimised;
• Electronic study course evaluation questionnaire was introduced;
• study course methodology was changed.

Catering:

• the student evaluation decided which of the catering service providers received discounts for premises.
