What is a double degree programme?
Double degree programmes provide students the opportunity of studying for a definite period in the School of Business Administration Turiba and at a partner institution and getting a degree from both institutions.
Which study programme students have the opportunity to get double degrees?
- 2nd course students of the professional bachelor study programmes “Business Administration”, “Law” and “Tourism and Hospitality Management” have the opportunity of participating in the double degree programme.
- Students of the professional postgraduate study programme “Tourism Strategic management” are also offered the opportunity of studying one semester abroad and getting a double degree.
How to apply?
In order to apply for the double degree programme students have to fulfill all their academic and financial obligations with Turiba..
The average mark of students for the previous semester and the English language knowledge of students are evaluated in a competition. It is important to apply as early as possible as first preference shall be given to students who applied earlier in case the marks are similar.
Why is the double degree programme valuable?
Gaining degrees from two higher education institutions provides students the opportunity to start an international career or continue education abroad. It is an opportunity to improve your language skills, understand your profession on a global level and make contacts with professionals in different fields outside Latvia.
How long is the study duration?
1 or 2 years –for those studying in professional Bachelor study programmes;
6 months – for those studying in professional postgraduate programmes

How much do studies in double degree programme cost?
Students have to pay tuition fees at the School of Business Administration Turiba (also for the period of studies abroad). Additional tuition fee is also foreseen for the period of studies in partner institutions Anglia Ruskin University and University of Glamorgan; whereas studies at Normandie Business School, University of Abertay Dundee, Champagne School of Management, Ming Chuan University are free of charge.
Students have to bear all living and travel expenses in the respective countries.
