Turiba students are welcome to apply for 2-weeks Intensive International ERASMUS Course about Mediation (7)
Mediation is a modern and effective method to settle disputes between natural and legal persons. European Parliament and Council has adopted a Directive 2008/52/EC on certain aspects of mediation in civil and commercial matters. Any Bachelor or master level student from Law, Business administration or Social science fields are welcome to apply for this Intensive course which is dedicated to discover mediation in wide scope of fields – civil, criminal and international law. Mediation as a tool is useful not only for Law students, but also for students studying psychology, business and political studies.
The IP course will include lectures, seminars, discussions, excursions and great exchange of information among Latvian, Estonia, Lithuanian and Italian students and lecturers.
- Lectures, meetings and discussion with professionals, visits to different organisations
- Work in international team
- After completing the course students receive 4 ECTS
- Many social and cultural activities organised by the project team.

Course is free of charge and it will take place in Riga, Turiba University from 5.10.2015. until 16.10.2015.
Please note, course will be very intensive. Lectures will take place every day all day long, applying for the course your regular lectures might overlap.
