The cup of mock-plays of constitutional law processes of Karlis Dislers won by students of the Faculty of Law can be viewed at library of Turiba (0)

On 31st of January, in solemn event, students of the Faculty of Law of Turiba University handed over the winners’ cup of the jubilee mock-plays of constitutional law processes of Professor Karlis Dislers to place it in the library so everyone interested can see it.

The team of students of the Faculty of Law of Turiba was able to win in very special mock-plays dedicated to the centenary of Latvia, where a record number of participants took part.

As one of the team members emphasized, it is not just an achievement of students, but all the work done by the university and the lecturers, which has resulted in such success. Somewhat small, but this victory is part of the university's history.

“The victory is the work and effort that has been invested for several years, and this year it has finally paid off. It is important for us to live with the consciousness that I am able  and I can! ” Janis Naciscionis, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, inspired everyone in his speech. He also wished to students a never-ending love for jurisprudence.

Team coach, lecturer Edgars Olsevskis is proud of this success, stressing that it was done in a tough and difficult fight. Student activity was described as a real team game, dominated by a strong team spirit. This is a special and important moment, because such a cup is at our university for the first time in history.
