Students Of Uzbekistan Food Technology College In Turiba Cooked Their National Dish – Pilaf (Plov) (3)

On 11 September students and lecturers of Uzbekistan Food Technology College visited Turiba to domonstrate for future students, academic staff and other interested persons the cooking process of Uzbek national dish and favourite dish among people – pilaf (plov). Today anyone could see how the Uzbek pilaf is cooked because in the Turiba outdoor area for several hours starting already from forenoon on the living fire delicious and nourishing food was prepared which could be tasted by interested persons and passers-by.

The national Uzbek dish is usually cooked for several hours and its main ingredients are lamb, onion, seed oil, Central Asia yellow carrots, salt and spice zira (this spice is known in the world as cumin).
