Students of International Tourism Faculty are Cleaning up the Area of Children’ Clinical University Hospital (0)
On 25th of September, 2013, first and second year students of International Tourism Faculty of Turiba University took part in the autumn joint work in cleaning up the area of Children’s Clinical University Hospital.
Students, full of energy, with tools and suitable clothing went to clean up the area of the hospital. The work was shown by household department head of the hospital Stase Ļisicina. During the work students had an opportunity to do something useful not only for the society but also have made friends.
The out-of-door work always stir up the appetite, therefore, the general sponsor of the joint work – the canteen „NĪKE-E” prepared company’s big pretzels and after well-done work was pampering up the participants of the joint work.
At the end of cleaning up workers performed inspiration ritual „Illness out, health in” which sounded as a wish for the whole Latvian nation. The household department manager of the hospital praised students emphasizing the large amount of the careful work done and the excellent mutual cooperation.
The organizers of the joint work would like to express a special thanks to 2nd course students of the Event Management program: Zane Balode, Santa Melne, Žanete Zīlīte and Kristīne Bula. The following first-year students of the International Tourism Faculty took part in the joint work: Elīna Jurkāne, Zane Projuma, Aļona Šumilo, Anna Cirmane, Anna Znaidenova, Džesika Riekstiņa, Eleonora Kolosovska, Sintija Ziemele, Kitija Jēkabsone, Ernests Lācis, Māra Barbare, Evelīna Valeiņa, Aivars Geidāns, Ernests Hvostovojs, Monta Jansone, Jēkabs Livčāns, Nauris Sirmacis, Megija Zibiko, Aivis Pavlovs, Kristīne Bula, Maira Kalniņa, Zane Balode un Žanete Zīlīte.
There were also foreign students among the workers: Erkin Ibragimov, Sharof Shavkatbekov, Aleksandr Ivanov, Otabek Holmirzajev, Ismayil Gasanov who during the work emphasized that foreign students of Turiba University are once again being pampered.
By enjoying delicious pretzels and tee prepared by the hospital kitchen, the public relation specialist of the Children’s Clinical University Hospital Ilze Reinika introduced the participants of the joint work with the history of the hospital and its today’s activities.
