Public lecture about the brand and image of Latvia as a tourist destination (1)
Everybody is kindly welcomed to participate in a guest lecture, organized by the Language department of Turiba university on 9.11.2016, at 14:30 in Room A101, where a Public relations officer from Latvian Institute Kaspars Rūklis will speak about the brand and image of Latvia as a tourist destination.
The lecture will be in English.
Kaspars Ruklis is Communications Officer at the Latvian Institute in Riga, Latvia, where he is responsible for various communication programs and digital communication platforms for promoting Latvia to foreign audiences. He also works as International Advocacy Communications Trainer and Expert with different government, private and NGO sector organizations. He has experience in public communication, as well as he has worked as a trainer with various clients in different European and African countries. Lately in cooperation with public and non-profit organizations he has facilitated advocacy and communication trainings in Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Ethiopia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine and Latvia. He also teaches communication at the University of Latvia and organizes Riga Summer School -- a hands-on documentary filmmaking program for international media and film students. Kaspars holds a graduate degree in communication and besides his native Latvian also speaks English, Russian and Estonian. He is passionate about development, running and communication.
