Opportunity to apply for discount “Students’ Council” (0)
We would like to inform you that there is an opportunity to apply for the Turiba University discount “Students’ Council”. The scope of the discount is up to 40% of the tuition fees and all student council members are invited to apply for it.
In order to apply for the discount Students’ Council (SP) members have to write a motivation letter including the following:
- Activities carried out during your term in the BAT SP and their justification;
- The scope of discount that you would like to avail.
The motivation letter should be addressed to the Development Director and submitted electronically to the deputy chairperson of the BAT SP by the 17th June 2019.
Recommendations regarding the grant of tuition fee discounts shall be made by a commission comprising the BAT SP chairperson, BAT SP deputy chairperson and the Development Director by 1st July. The tuition fee discounts shall be granted for achievements during the study year 2018/2019.
Spring semester students availing the discount shall have successfully completed all the examinations planned for the study year 2018/2019 by the 1st February, whereas autumn semester students availing the discount shall have successfully completed all the examinations planned for the study year 2018/2019 by the 15th July.
The decision on grant of discounts shall be made not later than 10th July for autumn semester students and not later than 1st February for spring semester students by a committee comprising the Rector, Vice rector and the Director of the Development department.
The discount “Student’s council” that has been granted to Student Council board members can be summed up together with other discounts that have been granted before 15th July 2019 but cannot exceed the total amount of 40%.
