On January 22nd students of Turiba University (Faculty of Communication) - Paula Pajate, Ilaha Hajiyev and Inna Ostapenko - met with Indonesian Ambassador Dewa Made Juniarta Sastrawan and his wife Hanna Satrawan to discuss the issues for the upcoming Indonesian culinary event in Latvia.

The students, Ambassador and his wife went to the Riga Central Market and the nearby shopping malls "Origo" and "Stockmann" to clarify the offer and the range of products available in Latvian market and may be used for Indonesian culinary evening.

Day ended with a dinner, conversations, generating ideas of further acitivities and cooperation. The Indonesian Ambassador said that in recent years Latvia has rapidly moved forward. "I was here two years ago. I remember there was no part of what it is now . Obviously business, media and visual decorations have developed and that makes me really delighted! Latvia is beautiful!" said Dewa Made Juniarta Sastrawan.

The students want to thank lecturer Valdis Tilgalis for the opportunity to get acquainted with Indonesian culture, establish new contacts and to cooperate with Ambassador which provides an invaluable experience.
