Global Impact Competition 2014. Win a Scholarship Worth USD 30.000! (20)
Would you like to spend your summer at the NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley? Now you have the chance to get the knowledge and the tools to make your dream come true. The Global Impact Competition of Singularity University aims to find projects that can positively impact the lives of people living in the specific regions where they are run.
Applicants should submit their projects aiming to improve the lives of at least one million people in Central Eastern Europe leveraging the power of accelerating technologies.
The winner will receive a scholarship worth USD 30.000 to participate in the Graduate Studies Program (GSP) in Summer 2014. The scholarship covers all tuition and lodging costs (travel is not included).
The GSP creates an unparalleled opportunity for participants to work together in international and interdisciplinary teams to address large- scale humanitarian challenges. Participants in this unique educational environment learn from each other, and from renowned experts in multiple disparate fields, in order to understand and apply these transformative, exponential technologies.
Applications are welcome on the competition’s website: www.sucee.eu, from the 6th of December 2013 until the 31st of January 2014.
The finalists will present their projects, at the Global Impact CEE finals, in front of a selected jury drawn from SU Faculty and regional executives of major corporations. The finals will take place in Budapest, Hungary in mid-March 2014.
