Faculty of International Tourism invites to apply for AHLEI courses till 26 January (2)
In February 2013 Faculty of International Tourism of Turiba University concluded an agreement with American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) on organizing AHLEI courses for students.
The agreement provides the rights to organize AHLEI courses for Turiba students and industry representatives about themes, which are important in work of the tourism and hospitality industry. Training will be implemented in presence and by using online access to AHLEI training materials for individual work.
This year Faculty of International Tourism offers to acquire two programmes: „Hospitality Service Activities”, which is mainly intended for those who are already working at hotel reception desks, but wish to improve their knowledge, as well as „Management Accounting”, which is mainly intended for managers of hospitality businesses and helps to understand how management decisions affect various types of costs in the company and also how to make appropriate decisions on the basis of this information, to build the prime cost and to plan the company’s budged, as well.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays (in the course „Management Accounting” at 17.00 p.m., whereas in the course „Hospitality Service Activities” – at 18:15 p.m. Courses will start on 10 February.
Course fee: EUR 150.
After successful passing of the final online examination, which is assessed by lecturers in the USA, participants receive a certificate, which is recognized and highly appreciated in the European countries, including Switzerland, USA and many other countries.
