Announcement to Apply for Studies in Bilateral Exchange Programs (0)

According to concluded bilateral and inter-university agreements and Clause 2.6 of the Regulation on the Study Procedure for Double Degree Studies and Bilateral Exchange Programs, competition for 20 study places in bilateral exchange programs in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2016/2017 has been announced.

Following full time professional bachelor program 2rd and 3rd year students and professional master program 1st year students are allowed to take part in the competition:

-          who acquire study course “Business Foreign Language (English)” in the highest level group;

-          who have no study debts for the previous study period;

-          who have no financial obligation with the University;

-          whose average grade for the previous study period is nor lower than 7;

-          according to Clause 2.4.3. of the Regulation on the Study Procedure for Double Degree Studies and Bilateral Exchange Programs, faculties can determine additional criteria for selection of students.  

 Evaluation criteria of the competition:

-          student’s average grade for the previous study period;

-          student’s grade in a foreign language;

-          evaluation of criterion additionally determined by faculties.

Additional requirements for students of Faculty of International Tourism are available on BATIS.

Study places for programs in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2016/2017 are determined as follows:

-         in professional bachelor study programs “Business Administration”, “Management of International Communication”, “Public Relations” and “Marketing and Sales Management” and professional master programs “Business Administration”, “Public Relations” – 2 places for studies in Kyung Hee University (South Corea), 2 places for studies in Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance (Russia), 2 places for studies in International School of Business (Ireland), 1 place for studies in La Salle Morelia University (Mexico), 1 place for studies in Ural Federal University (Russia), 1 place for studies in International Black Sea University (Georgia), 1 place for studies in Otterbein University (USA), 1 place for studies in 6th of October University (Egypt), 2 places for studies in St. Ignatius of Loyola University (Peru).

-          in professional bachelor study programs “Tourism and Hospitality Management” and “Management of Leisure and Business Events” and in professional master program “Tourism Strategic Management” – 1 place for studies in La Salle Morelia University (Mexico), 2 places for studies in Kying Hee University (South Corea), 2 places for studies in Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance (Russia),2 places for studies in St. Ignatius of Loyola University (Peru).

Term of submitting applications for the competition – 12 October 2016.

Students, who wish to claim for Erasmus+ study place and scholarship submit application in the Department of International Communication in room C201 or electronically Laura.Grike@turiba.lv .

Term for announcing results of the competition: 14 October 2016. Results will be published in the University webpage www.turiba.lv.
