Announced competition for studies under the LLP/Erasmus Programme (0)

The competition for 35 study places and scholarships under the LLP/Erasmus programme for the 1st  semester of the academic year 2013/2014 shall hereby be announced in accordance with the clause 2.6. of the Regulations on procedure for studies and practice under the Erasmus sub-programme of the Lifelong Learning programme.

Students of the 1st , 2nd and 3rd study years of the professional bachelor’s study programme and students of the 1st study year of the master’s (postgraduate) study programmes shall be eligible to participate in the competition providing that they:

- have not participated in the LLP/Erasmus student mobility programme during the previous years;
- have no academic debts for the previous study period;
- have no outstanding financial obligations due towards Turiba;
- have an average mark not less than 7 for the previous study period.

 

The evaluation criteria for the competition shall be as follows:

- average mark of the student during the previous study period;
- foreign language mark of the student;
- additional criteria set for the selection of students by the respective faculties in accordance with the clause 2.4.3. of the Regulations on procedure for studies and practice under the  Erasmus sub-programme of the Lifelong Learning programme.

 

The study places shall be divided among the faculties as follows.

- Universidad de Alcala (Spain)- 1 place (studies in Spanish);
- Poznan University of Economics (Poland)- 1 place;
- ISC Paris School of Management (France)- 1 place;
- La Rochelle Business School (France)- 1 place;
- University of Applied Sciences Breda (the Netherlands)- 1 place;
- Pamukkale University (Turkey)- 1 place;
- University of Rijeka (Croatia)- 1 place;
- Karlshochschule International University (Germany)- 1 place;
- Escola Superior de Technologias de Fafe (Portugal)- 1 place;
- University College Zealand (Danmark)- 1 place.

Faculty of Public Relations:

The deadline for submission of applications for the competition is the 11th March 2013.

Students, who wish to apply for study places and scholarships under the LLP/Erasmus study programme shall submit their applications to the International relations department, Room A201 or A215 or by e-mail Imants.Bergs@turiba.lv

Additional requirements for students of Faculty of International Tourism are published on BATIS.

The results of the competition shall be announced on 20th March 2013 personally to the student and published on Turiba’s webpage www.turiba.lv.
