Congratulations to PR Faculty Student Elza Gulbe on the Win of a Bronze Medal at XXVII World Universiade! (9)
On Monday, July 8th, following a three-day fighting for the medals at the brand new and gorgeous rowing centre at Kaban Lake, Latvian rowers completed their competition at the XXVII World Universiade. Elza Gulbe (a Turiba University student) was the one to win the first bronze medal for the Latvian team. More

New Rector Approved for Turiba University (1615)
Yesterday, on July 2nd, the government approved the draft order for the approval of Dr. iur. Jānis Načisčionis to the post of the Turiba University Rector. One of the main priorities for the new Rector would be to establish an even closer cooperation with the private and the public sectors, to further elaborate of the study process and to move steadily towards the acquisition of a private university status.
